Womancation Day 2

I hear that most of the country is in a drought. Upstate NY definitely is not. We have been in rain most of the day but the sun finally broke through late this afternoon.
We spent the morning in the Finger Lakes Region and took a walk at lake Seneca. Then we wandered to the Saratoga Springs Racetrack and watched a couple of horse races. None of us had ever been to a horse race so it was a fun new experience for all. Then we headed east to The Adirondacks. While at Lake George the sun made its grand appearance. Woohoo! So under partly cloudy skies we hopped on the Minne Ha Ha for a tour around the lake. Such pretty views of the surrounding tree covered mountains and beautiful homes and resorts. There is a very cute downtown area where we did some shopping, had dinner and some ice cream.
Very fun-filled day. As usual womancation is flying by!
