Womancation - Day 5

Day 5 - Martha's Vineyard, MA Boston, MA then Seattle, WA

This last leg of the trip was kind of a last minute decision that we made while en route. But since we all had later flights, we had a little flexibility and decided to make a quick trip to Martha's Vineyard. We certainly didn't get to see everything there is to see but we did get to see two of the towns on the island. The first being Vineyard Haven.

Vineyard haven is home to The Black Dog store. And obviously we stopped in and purchased a few souvenirs. We didn't see Bill or Monica while we were there. Luckily.

The other town we visited is Oak bluffs.

Oak Bluffs is a cute town on the seaside with beaches...

and it's also where the cute gingerbread houses reside.

And this is just what I thought Martha's Vineyard would look like. Can't you just imagine the Kennedy's sunning themselves on their boats in this harbor? I didn't see any of them...but I'm sure they've been there.

After just a few hours on the island, we had to catch a boat back to the mainland so we could drive back to Boston so we could make our flights. And that's it for Womancation 2011.

Thanks for another great trip, ladies!!! Until next year!

(Well until October...but that trip is yet unnamed and will involve way too much running to be called a vacation. More on that one later.)
