Floppy hats and fruity drinks
It's getting to be that time of year again. Yesterday I saw my first ship of the season in the harbor, in all of its cruising glory. (Sigh) I love hearing the horns sound and seeing those floating luxury hotels, almost close enough to touch...but not quite. Sure it brings with it mobs and mobs of tourist that make navigating downtown and the market somewhat laborious but who cares? Just a glimpse of a ship stirs up memories of moonlit strolls on the deck, the smell of the warm salty air and a promise of vacations to come. (Too much...? Too cheesy...? I don't care.)

Wow, you've almost convinced me I want to cruise. Memories of a short cruise to Victoria keeps coming back to mind though!
