Stuff and Stuff

Top 5 random thoughts from yours truly.
1. Love stories about gnomes just don't do it for me. Evidently.
2. We are in the midst of yet another episode of overreaction to a weather forecast here in the Emerald City. (Please note said weather has not actually materialized. Yet.) From what I've seen today, it snowed for about 15 minutes downtown...just long enough for most of my co-workers to clear out. Don't worry, buses have had chains on since yesterday. (Insert rant here about what all those chains are doing to the roads...and my tax dollars at work to fix them.) To be fair it did snow last night...and left a light sprinkling of white on the grass.
3. Last weekend I had the opportunity to see most of my family in the Motherland. We spent quite a bit of time playing with the Xbox Kinect. So. Much. Fun. The only games where random spastic movement makes you an excellent athlete.
4. Turns out my baby brother can now beat me at soccer, at least when it's full contact soccer on the Xbox. You should see my arm. Solid bruise.
5. What's funnier than a dancing baby? A dancing baby that takes breaks to give you kisses then starts dancing again. It's true. My one year old nephew had me cracking up!!
