Shuffle-ball-change

When I was about 5 I took a couple of dance classes. As I recall I took Hawaiian dance and loved it then briefly took ballet and hated it (in large part because the teacher was mean in my 5 year old head). This is where my dance career began and ended. Or so I thought.
Have you ever watched some kind of theater involving tap dancing? And can you possibly watch without smiling and tapping your feet? Well I can't. So thanks to some encouragement from a sister-in-law I signed up for an adult tap class. It is SO MUCH FUN! The class includes those who tapped throughout childhood and are pretty proficient, three super fun people over the age of 70 (my awesome aunt included) and a few like me who sometimes can't tell the difference between a toe and my heal.
Off beat, missteps and all I have loved my first four classes and look forward to the next few months of tapping.
Theses feet are tapping!

I took beginner and intermediate tap at BYU and LOVED it! I used to tap all the time while pushing the grocery cart down the isle while shopping in college. I have since forgotten almost everything....but it was fun while it lasted! Keep it up!
