I've gotten out of the habit of attending a lot of live shows the last few years. Which makes me feel a little sad...and a little old. Tonight I had a delightful reminder of why I should make it a priority. The bass pounding in your chest, the lights dancing across the heads and waving arms of the crowd in front of you and the aroma that comes when humans share a small space- cologne, alcohol, various smoke, and a bit of B.O. It's all part of the experience and allows the pleasant reminder that life is being lived!
Tonight I saw Glen Hansard at the Moore Theater. The show was really fun. Much less rambunctious than some of the shows of years gone by but it was simply delightful! That is until the end of the show. Glen and the band came down off the stage, out into the foyer, then out the door onto the street where we had a brief sing along in the middle of Virginia Ave. I'm not sure the people in the apartments above the street appreciated it but it sure was a lot of fun for the rest of us!

Ok, I know you will be shocked when I ask this, but who is Glen whats his name?
Hahaha he's slightly more obscure so I won't give you a hard time for not knowing him. Unlike Bret Michaels...
