Germany Day 5

We stayed a little closer to home today. We tried to see Camburg Palaces but the road to get there was closed. So we looked from afar and kept going. We stopped and saw Wasserburg Castle then to Weinmar to see the town and have lunch. For lunch we had döner and it was delish. Very pretty countryside.
Next on our stop was Buchenwald. Having been to the Holocaust Museum and seen a lot of images from various concentration camps, I know that I can't deal with the emotional impact of exposing myself to a lot of that. So we drove around and read some of the info but didn't spend a whole lot of time there. Glad I saw it. Glad I didn't spend a lot of time there.
Tonight we finished the day at institute. It was great to meet some of the people my parents have been working with and see where they spend so much time.
Now it's time to figure out what we are doing tomorrow. :)
