(The spacing is crazy on this post and I can't get it to cooperate. However I've attempted to post this info for roughly two weeks now...but blogstpot was having technical difficulties and at this point, I'm over it.)
A couple of weekends ago, my roommate and I took a random and quick trip to the land northward. The adventure began Friday morning with a train ride from Seattle to Vancouver. After checking into the hotel, we toured the city and in spite of the rain, had a great time seeing the sites. Here are some highlights.
This is the cauldron that was lit during the Olympic games last winter
And a fun view in downtown
After a brief but fun stint in exotic Canada, we headed back to Seattle via a cruise ship for the shortest cruise EVER. But because it was so short, we could actually splurge on a nice state room with a private veranda. Too bad we only got to enjoy it for one night.
The rain did give us a brief break.
A cheesy photo on the ship.
And in the morning we woke up back in Seattle.
It was a quick trip but it was nice to see my luggage again after a season of neglect.
