On Sunday we walked around DC and went to the National Cathedral. We'd hoped to hear a service at the beautiful church but decided we weren't particularly interested in paying for a ticket to hear one. Instead we walked around the museum and visited the herb garden.
Monday (today) I was a proper DC tourist and sweated my way around the mall and saw all the monuments. It was a nice, peaceful and relaxing day that has left me really tired and the top of my feet a little sunburned. (doh!)
